written in C++ using Microsoft Developer Studio 5.0 and Microsoft Foundation Classes.

Responsible for all the PerfectExpert content development for WordPerfect, Presentations,
and Quattro Pro. Supervised ten university interns that helped develop content. Worked with
PerfectExpert development lead and product manager to organize the development of suite-wide
tasks and to resolve design issues. Wrote majority of the tasks that shipped with Corel
WordPerfect Suite 8 Professional. Was responsible for making sure that bug reports were
resolved. Used Corel Script, PerfectScript, Quattro Pro macro languages, and tools developed
by the PerfectExpert development team. Assisted the international development team in the
localization of the PerfectExpert projects.

Wrote utilities to aid the testing process. The most recent was a utility to check registry
settings after installation of Corel Office Professional 7 to make sure all keys and values
were properly registered. The initial code was reworked but is still in use by the quality
assurance department. Wrote scripts that used AppTester to test network integration after an
installation of our products. Worked with various network's software including Microsoft NT 4.0,
Microsoft NT 3.51, Novell NetWare 3.1x, Novell NetWare 4.x & Banyan Vines. Installed,
set up, and administered the servers for Novell NetWare 3.1x and Banyan Vines. Configured
workstations to connect with the various network servers in various configurations. Responsible
for testing Corel WordPerfect Suite 7 on these servers. Attended two different training sessions:
one on C++ and one on HTML. Both were taught by Mountainland Applied Technology Center.
